“ Update I had their wood fired today on a business outing. SPECTACULAR as well. I do prefer their Detroit style but you cant go wrong with either. This is EASILY the best pizza restaurant in Colorado. Anyone who says otherwise probably has poor taste in regards to pizza. ________ previous review below_________ Spectacular Detroit pizza. You would be hard pressed to find a better pizza than you can here. High quality toppings, delicious flavorful dough. I kinda wish theyd use a zestier red sauce for this style as its clear they use their Neapolitan style sauce on here, but it was still delicious. ”

“ Popped in on a snowy evening to catch dinner with friends while in town for an event. Restaurant was decently full but we got a table for 6 without much trouble. Seems like a very family friendly place with the number of kids running around. Food was good, pizza was well baked, added chicken portion was actually a decent size. Pizza took maybe 1520 minutes, not as long as they had said it would, so that was an added bonus. Service was attentive but not overly present, my preference. Would definitely return if I lived in the area! We each had plenty of leftovers to take home. ”

“ Grew up in Detroit. Had more then my fair share of Buddys and Shields pizza over the years. These guys have the crust down cold. They dont use brick cheese, they have managed to get the crusty edge very close. Layers are in the correct order. The sauce is the traditional two stripes but it is not bake on the pizza its put on after its baked. Over all a very good, close second. Atmosphere was pleasant, wait staff very friendly and efficient and the beer was cold. Good enough for a Detroit boy to make a return trip and even bring friends. ”

“ What an incredible place to come visit. My partner and I already love Stem Ciders, so what a nice change in scenery with just as good of food and drinks. The apps that we had were over the top, and the Detroit style pizza was no disappointment at all. Thanks for an incredible first visit, we will be returning again. ”

“ This is the best pizza in Colorado, full stop. Best if you can get it straight out of the oven i.e. eat in the restaurant, but its also delicious reheated the next day. The restaurant is in downtown Lafayette. Parking can be tricky and the entrance isnt ideal for people that are not mobile. Once inside, the atmosphere is buzzing with music and elevated chatting. Theres always lots of laughter and its clearly a popular spot. It would not be easy to hear if you have hearing challenges. Cocktails are great as be there a good beer selection too. ”

“ Dropped in unexpectedly with the family. Megan gave us great service. She was knowledgeable and made great suggestions for both spirits and pizza. We got a small Detroit deep dish pepperoni with goat cheese and a flatbread prosciutto pizza. Probably the best pizza Ive had in Colorado. Definitely will be making a special trip to come back. ”

“ I recently visited Ghost Box Pizza and was thoroughly impressed. The pizza was absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors and a wonderfully crisp crust. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff making the experience even better. I highly recommend trying their smore dessert pizza its a musttry and a delightful end to a fantastic meal. I will definitely be coming back! ”

“ We stopped by Ghost about 1 year ago when we were in the area after Christmas service. The entire fam liked it. We stopped by again with everyone, including the newest addition daughter in law. There were seven of us. We were greeted and sat right away. Emma stopped by to introduce herself. She gave time for us to look at the drink menu and came back to take our order. Drinks came while we discussed what we wanted. The group decided on button mushrooms and bruschetta as appetizers. We ordered three pizzas, the Chicken Bacon Ranch, Sausage and Shroom, and the Stuffed Chicken and Spinach. My bride ordered a Berry Spicy Ghost. It was spicy! I enjoyed my sip, but it was too spicy for her. Make sure you like heat if you order. Our youngest got a Ginger Shirley. My sip of his was delicious and he had no complaints. I got a Howdy Beer, it was light and good. The others got some Stem Ciders. They enjoyed their drinks too. Emma was awesome at checking in and making sure things were going well. She was super nice and helpful. The appetizers were shared and all agreed they were yummy. The pizza looked yummy when they came out. Each of us had different opinions but all enjoyed each one. We tried, but still took some home. Our entire family enjoyed the meal a year ago and again today. If we are in the area, we will be back. Not sure how much longer Emma will be there, she made our large group feel like she was happy we were there and that we never needed anything. She will be great at teaching the youngins when she graduates! ”
